Eng. Patricia Achola Ocan is an electrical engineer who has grown through the ranks in power systems planning and design. She boasts of a vast experience of over 22 years in medium and low-voltage networks, 12 of which have been at the management level. Over this period, she has obtained experience in the preparation of feasibility studies, planning, and design, as well as financial and technical appraisal of distribution power line and substation projects. She also has experience in distribution network upgrades with a focus on quality and reliability of supply improvement, energy efficiency, and growth.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Oil, Gas and Energy Management from UNICAF University. She is a member of the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers, a registered engineer with the Engineers Registration Board, a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
