A registered Agricultural Engineer employed by the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO) as a Principal Research Officer. Florence has worked with NARO for 24 years, serving in various capacities. She has served in various leadership roles including: Head of the Agricultural Engineering and Appropriate Research Center (2013-2019); Programme Leader for the Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering Programme (2013-2019), Vice chairman, GHS PTA (2016-2018), Board member of the 17^th Engineers Registration Board (ERB) (2018-2020), Council Member for the Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE) (2018-2020 & 2020-2022), Vice Chairman of the 18^th Engineers Registration Board (ERB) (2020-2022) and Head of several Agro-processing projects.
