Eng. Dr. Eleanor Wozei

Eng.-Dr.-Eleanor-Wozei
Eng. Dr. Eleanor Wozei is an Associate Professor in the Department of
Engineering and Environment at Uganda Christian University (UCU) where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including waste management and sanitation, and integrated water resources management.
She has served as Head of Department and Dean of Faculty. With a BSc in Civil Engineering from Makerere University, and postgraduate degrees (MS, PhD) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California Berkeley, Eleanor has worked in academia and research for over 25 years, gaining wide experience working with multi-disciplinary academic and research teams. She is interested in building capacity in water, sanitation and hygiene. She was part of the team which developed the UCU Department of Engineering and Environment, the PGD/MSc in Water and Sanitation, the BSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the PGD in Sustainable Business and Renewable Energy, which are pioneering
programs in Uganda. Eleanor is a Member of the Uganda Institution of
Professional Engineers (UIPE), and the Institute of Corporate Governance
of Uganda (ICGU).
